Our Fluids Laboratory using Perkin Elmer Induction Couple plasma (ICP), which have good ability to provide element tests in fast and accurate with ASTM D 5158-05

 

Oil Condition Analysis

Our Fluids Laboratory using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) analysis which determines the degree of deterioration in used oil by measuring the amount of soot, oxidation, nitration and sulphur products present it is also used as a screen for oil contamination from fuel, water and antifreeze (ethylene glycol). This instrument using ASTM E-2412-04

To determine water contamination PT Trakindo Fluids Laboratory using hotplate for qualitative analysis and using Karl Fischer for quantitative analysis with ASTM D4377-00 for Karl Fisher Volumetric and ASTM D4464-00 for Karl Fisher Coulometric.
