Link assemblies are available as unsealed, sealed, or sealed and lubricated (SALT) to meet specific OEM after-market requirements for wear life, durability and fit-up.
Track links are forged from deep hardening steels. They are furnace heat treated to provide a consistent body hardness for resistance to cracking and fatigue and retain to the pins and bushings. The rails are then induction heat treated to provide a uniform rail hardness and hardened depth for wear resistance.

Track links have a rail running surface of Rockwell C 50-55, minimum rail hardened depth to Rockwell C45 of 5-13mm depending on size and a minimum core body
hardness of Rockwell C 30.

Heat treated shells to a uniform depth to give wear life equal to the links.

Carefully machined and heat treated shafts provide a smooth running, durable match with the shell and bearings.

Tread hardness similar to link to provide impact strength and a balanced wear life.

Bearing surfaces are machined and polished to reduce friction and wear with the bearing.

Track Rollers and Idlers incorporate metal ring seals and bronze sleeve bearings to seal lubricating oil in and abrasives out, while providing a large polished contact area for load distribution.
Carrier rollers incorporate metal ring seals and tapered roller bearings to seal lubricating oil in and abrasives out and to transfer loads.
